Tex Crick — "Silly Little Things"

Live at Phoenix is proud to present a long-lost archival recording from the ever enigmatic and whimsical songwriter Tex Crick, under the visual supervision of director Michael Hili. Performed in the heart of Phoenix, on a sabbatical from his home studio in Tokyo, Crick assembled a band made up of Chet Tucker on bass and Miles Myjavec on drums to perform a simmering jazz-styled rendition of “Silly Little Things” from his sophomore LP filled with warm croons and gentle piano licks. Following in the footsteps of Randy Newman, Crick invites you to relax into his self-assured baritone and smooth instrumentation.
